Reclaimed wood three-layer panel with machine-hewn surface
For reclaimed wood three-layer panels, a thin layer (lamella) of the reclaimed wood surface is carefully cut from old beams, pressed onto panels under high pressure, and then glued. This process allows our reclaimed wood three-layer panels to be easily and quickly processed, making them ideal for wall cladding and furniture construction.
Details and availability of the 3-layer reclaimed wood panel
The surface of the reclaimed wood 3-layer panels is made of 100% genuine reclaimed wood from spruce, fir, and pine. The panels are heat-treated and pest-free according to ISPM 15. They are available in lengths starting from 200 cm, with a fixed width of 122 cm and a thickness of approx. 21–24 mm. As standard, they come with D3 bonding; for improved water resistance, we also offer D4 bonding. Additionally, you can choose whether the backside is also made of reclaimed wood lamellas.
Every machine-hewn reclaimed wood panel is unique – the structure is more even than on the hand-hewn version, yet color and knot content still vary from lamella to lamella. Nail holes, cracks, knots and discolorations shape its character; individual spots are professionally patched with reclaimed wood. As second-hand material, reclaimed wood is subject to variations in dimensions, structure, color and texture. Even after installation, the panel reacts slightly to humidity.
