How do I order reclaimed wood boards to fit my wall?

Reclaimed wood boards for your wall come in three options: mixed widths and lengths for a lively look, fixed widths for a butt-to-butt installation, or cut to your wall sections so the boards run through without a joint.

Standard: mixed widths and lengths

You receive boards in different widths and mixed lengths, for example 150–400 cm. This gives the liveliest overall look. The length range is a frame, not a guaranteed distribution: we deliver what is in stock. For larger quantities we can also put together a length sorting by share on request, for example half of the area in lengths over 300 cm. Allow for 10–15 % cutting waste.

Fixed widths

The boards come in 4–6 uniform widths, the lengths remain mixed. Which widths you get depends on the available raw material. This way you always have the right width for each row and can install the boards butt to butt. The wall looks calmer as a result. Fixed widths are available at an additional cost. Cutting waste is 5–10 %. Like mixed widths, fixed widths are supplied in m² and are not pre-sorted to your wall area.

Cut to your wall sections

We cut the boards to the dimensions of your wall sections so that they run through without a joint. For this we need the board length and the coverage width for each wall section. With horizontal installation the coverage width is the wall height, with vertical installation it is the wall width. Example: a wall section with a board length of 350 cm and a coverage width of 300 cm (wall height).

Because every board is cut to size, there is practically no cutting waste. How long a single board can be depends on the surface:
